Missing Hawthorne Man, 96, Found at NY Golf Course

HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- An early-morning report of a car fire at a Rockland County golf course led to the discovery and rescue of a missing 96-year-old Hawthorne man, Nyack Free Press reported.

Pat Lembo was reunited with his daughter and son-in-law after he was found in the area of the 11th tee box of the Patriot Hills Golf Course in Stony Point after 6:30 a.m. yesterday, the web site said.

Lembo was found in the area of his 2004 Lincoln Towncar, which Nyack Free Press said was destroyed by fire after the vehicle got struck in the terrain and he tried to free it.
