Born in Brooklyn, Cohen was a teacher for the Franklin Avenue Middle School in Franklin Lakes and the co-owner of "Blueprints for Learning."
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Reilly; son Devon; mother Anita Cohen; and brothers-in-law Jack and Brendan Reilly. Cohen was predeceased by his father, Allen Cohen.
Visiting hours will be from 4-5 p.m. on Friday, March 11, at Eden Memorial Chapels, 327 Main St., opposite the Fort Lee Library. Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. Cremation services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to "Rob's wish for Devon," GoFundMe page, to help pay for his son's college education.
