WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- Melissa Reeves West, 98, of West Milford, died Nov. 2.
She was born July 10, 1918, in Middletown.
Before retiring, she worked as a technician at Lever Bros. in Edgewater. She was the happiest person in the world with a perpetual smile. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward West.
She is survived by her children, Edward West and his wife Julie and the late Kenneth West and his wife Diane; grandchildren, Laura West, Eileen West, Kenneth West, Mark West and his wife Sue, Brian West and his wife Lori and Michael West and his wife Cara; great-grandchildren, Scott, Peyton, Ava and Brooke; and sister, Alma.
The family will receive their friends from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.
