Bloomingdale Department Promotes Healthy Habits

BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- To promote health and wellness, the Bloomingdale Department of Health has issued a reminder about its programs and released a flyer with fitness tips.

Pre-school children can learn about fruit and the importance of breakfast along with Mimi Mouse, as well as preventing the spread of germs with proper hand washing. Call 973-835-5700 to make an appointment.

The department also has a free vaccination program for adults and wellness visits for children from families without insurance.
