Pompton Lakes Car And Truck Show To Evoke '50s Era

POMPTON LAKES, N.J. -- Cars and trucks will line the Pompton Lakes Elks for the 13th annual show on Sunday, July 17.

The 13th annual Elks Car and Truck Show is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain date July 24). Cost is $17 pre-registration; $20 day of show.

Dash Plaques will be awarded to first 100 entrants. Judging starts at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, music by DJs Greta Latona and Jimmy Greta Latona. The music is all from the '50s and '60s.

Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be available.

About 100-120 vehicles are in a typical show and about 500 people come during the course of the day, said organizer Bob Keller.

Pompton Lakes Elks is located at 15 Perrin Ave.
