Pedestrian Killed On Jersey Shore Roadway, Police Say A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle along a Jersey Shore roadway over Labor Day Weekend, authorities said. Absecon police were called to Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard) west of the Delilah Road overpass around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, local police said. Absecon police received a report of several people trying to break into vehicles in the city at around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11. Atlantic City Man Killed Teen Pedestrian In Hit-And-Run Crash: Police An Atlantic City man was accused of killing a teen pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Everette Williams, 52, was arrested on Thursday, May 16, the Absecon Police Department said in a news release. He was facing charges in the deadly crash on Route 30 West on Saturday, Feb. 17.
