At 1:03 a.m., troopers responded to Route 80 eastbound in Warren County after Thomas Argen was driving a Jeep SUV that struck the front of a Mack truck, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The Jeep ran off the roadway and traveled down a grass embankment, Postorino said. Argen was pronounced dead at the scene, Postorino said. The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.

Daylight Saving Time Nears: How The Switch Changes Your Day The clock change is almost here, and familiar routines could suddenly look very different outside your window. Daylight saving time ends Sunday, Nov. 1, when clocks across most of the US turn back from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m. local time, according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
