Family Plans Lawsuit After NJ Transit Train Operator Killed By Fallen Tree
The family of the New Jersey Transit train operator killed by a fallen tree is planning to sue several organizations for negligence, an attorney said. Jessica Haley of Levittown, Pennsylvania, was identified as the person who died in the crash, according to a news release from the Anapol Weiss law firm on Thursday, Oct. 15. A New Jersey marching band director and teacher's aide accused of having a sexual relationship with a student has had her license revoked by the state's Board of Examiners, authorities announced. Michelle Jacoby, 27, who worked at Riverside High School before her arrest for aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment, was dealt another blow to her career after agreeing to relinquish her license. New Jersey has joined a group of states suing social media giant TikTok, alleging the video-sharing app is highly-addictive and harmful to children.
