Police are searching for a man who set off a smoke bomb inside a McDonald’s on Route 22 East, forcing customers to flee and causing damage to the restaurant’s floor. The incident occurred on Thursday, Dec. 26, around 5 p.m., according to Union Police. The suspect allegedly emerged from the restaurant’s bathroom and detonated a red-colored incendiary smoke bomb. Power Outage Update: Storm Leaves Hundreds Of NJ Residents In The Dark
A storm system that swept through the region Saturday afternoon, Aug. 3 left hundreds of North Jersey residents without power. As of 5:40 p.m., about 950 PSE&G customers in Hackensack did not have power, its website shows. In Closter, 145 Orange & Rockland customers were in the dark.
