New details and photos have been released after a winter weather crash mess shut down huge stretches of Interstate 78 from the New Jersey line to Interstate 81, before the roadway reopened, PennDOT said. PennDOT reported winter weather impacts on I-78 westbound between the NJ line and I-81 beginning at 8:22 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.
