Drivers across North Jersey faced a messy start to the morning commute on Friday, May 9, as multiple highways were shut down due to crashes, an overturned truck, and storm debris.
According to state traffic alerts:
At 9:45 a.m., a crash on US 22 eastbound shut down all lanes west of CR 655/Bonnie Burn Rd/Park Ave in Scotch Plains Township.

Public House 46 in Clifton will be closing for good after service on Sunday, April 6, owner Robby Corujo confirmed to Daily Voice.
The longtime Route 46 hotspot, located at 1081 US-46, has been a go-to for locals looking to catch a game, hear live music, or enjoy a classic burger and beer. But Corujo says it’s time for a new chapter.
