A 911 caller told police someone inside a black Toyota Prius was pointing a laser at passing cars on Monday night, April 21 — a dangerous distraction on a busy road. A witness called police around 8:30 p.m. to report the light show and followed the Prius while directing dispatchers and helping troopers track the vehicle as it headed west onto I-91 south. That’s what happened to a 21-year-old Connecticut man who filmed himself speeding throughout the state, sometimes hitting speeds of 190 mph, authorities said.  Brice Bennett, of Bloomfield, was arrested Tuesday, April 8, and charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, and reckless endangerment, Connecticut State Police said.
