Not a Bright Idea: NJ Duo Shined Laser Beam Into Cars On Interstate, Police Say Drivers on I-84 had a scare when a green laser beam was seen flashing into vehicles near Exit 61 in Manchester. A 911 caller told police someone inside a black Toyota Prius was pointing a laser at passing cars on Monday night, April 21 — a dangerous distraction on a busy road. A witness called police around 8:30 p.m. to report the light show and followed the Prius while directing dispatchers and helping troopers track the vehicle as it headed west onto I-91 south.
