Broken Arm, Fall Injuries Trigger Massive Recall Of Popular Stools
A popular children's tower stool is being recalled after eight children were injured in falls, including one who broke their arm, officials said. Cosyland Official issued the recall for about 125,200 Cosyland Children's Tower Stools, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, May 14. They were sold on Amazon from April 2021 through November 2025 for about $70. The stools can collapse or tip over while being used, increasing the risk of serious injury or death. Dementia Patient Jumps From Third-Floor Window At NJ Care One Facility, Lands In Bushes: Cops
A 69-year-old man with dementia survived a terrifying three-story plunge from a window at a Bergen County care facility, authorities said. Officers responded to Care One at 800 River Road in New Milford—formerly known as Woodcrest—at 6:08 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, after receiving reports of an injured patient outside the building, according to Police Chief Brian Clancy.
