NJ Man With CT Warrants Steals $12K From Gas Station: Cops
A Newark, N,J man wanted out of Hartford, CT was jailed after police said he stole more than $12,000 from a gas station.
Mount Olive police responded to the Flanders Shell Gas Station on Route 206 on Sunday, Oct. 12, after the station owner discovered that the office had been broken into and approximately $12,400 was missing from the safe, according to Officer Thomas Cuff and Detective James Carney.
Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified the suspect as 57-year-old Albert Smith, police said.

NY Sex Assault Suspect, Armed Robber Arrested In Bergen Thanks To Brand-New Task Force
Two New York men wanted in separate violent crimes were tracked down last month in Bergen County, thanks to the county's newly-launched Crime Suppression Team, authorities said.
The first arrest was made on Saturday, Dec. 21, when members of the team identified 51-year-old Randolph R. Smith of Far Rockaway, NY, who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in New York City, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Smith was spotted in the Ramsey area, and when confronted by the Crime Suppression Team, he provided a false name to investigators, Musella said.
