On July 10, 2024, at 2:05 a.m., Officer Benjamin Bressel was on patrol near Central Avenue and East Madison Avenue when he saw a 2024 Volvo sedan being driven without headlights, according to Clifton Police Lt. Clifton Driver Charged In Crash That Killed Passaic Grandmother: Prosecutor A 33-year-old Clifton man has been charged in the April crash that killed a 58-year-old grandmother from Passaic, authorities announced. Grzegorz Wolak was in a red Ford Explorer when he struck Rachel McNeil on Passaic and Aycrigg avenues around 11:15 p.m. April 10, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Chief of Police Luis A. Guzman said. McNeil died two days later at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. DUI Driver Kills Motorcyclist In Passaic County, Prosecutor Says A 32-year-old Bergen County man has been charged in a deadly crash that happened Friday, Sept. 20 in Passaic County, authorities said. Johnny Aguilar, of Carlstadt, was operating a Ford Excursion when he struck a 59-year-old motorcyclist at the intersection of Paulison Avenue and Pennington Avenue, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Chief of Police Luis Guzman said. Arriving officers found the victim, Carlos Ocasio-Rodriguez, in the middle of the intersection, Valdes and Guzman said. Ocasio-Rodriguez was pronounced dead at Saint Mary’s Hospital. …
