Monsignor James C. Turro, the oldest priest in the Archdiocese of Newark, marked his 104th birthday with a week of celebrations surrounded by family, parishioners, and well-wishers at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Park Ridge.
The celebration began Jan. 24, when Monsignor Turro’s relatives traveled from across the United States to visit him at the parish rectory for an early birthday gathering, church officials said. A major snowstorm prevented a celebration on his actual birthday, Jan. 26, though he received phone calls and cards from friends around the world.

T-Pain Announces 'TP20' Tour With NYC Kickoff, Says It's Not A Tour
Rapper and auto-tune icon T-Pain is hitting the road this fall for a nationwide run he’s calling a celebration, not a tour.
"If I learned one thing in the last 20 years, it’s that music doesn’t live on charts. It lives in people," T-Pain said on social media. “This isn’t a tour, it’s a thank you.”
Dubbed the TP20: Celebrating 20 Years of T-Pain Tour, the shows will celebrate two decades of hits like "Buy U A Drank," "Bartender," and "I'm Sprung," with a nod to the next 20 years of what he calls music “nobody is ready for.”
