The sequel to the 1996 cult comedy classic, starring Adam Sandler, filmed in Verona on Friday, Sept. 27. Filming took place near the Verona Community Center, with the street closed from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. The movie, which began production on Monday, Sept. 9, has been filming all over New Jersey, with Sandler most recently having been in West Orange on Tuesday and in Hackettstown last week. Golf Spectators Needed For 'Happy Gilmore 2' Filming In West Orange There are still roles to fill in the sequel to cult classic "Happy Gilmore" ahead of an upcoming shoot in New Jersey. A recent casting call is seeking golf spectators for the Adam Sandler film. The notice says extras will be portraying 2000s golf spectators on Sept. 24 in West Orange. Actors are needed for about 10 hours of work, or $176. Those who have already worked on the film should not apply. "Happy Gilmore 2" has been spotted filming all across New Jersey, most recently in Hackettstown. The movie will be streamed on Netflix. Click here to apply.
