Cops ID 2 Dead In 100-Person NJ Block Party Shooting, 3 Remain Critical
Authorities have identified the two Trenton residents killed when multiple gunmen opened fire on a block party attended by about 100 people, as three other victims remain hospitalized in critical condition.
Anthony Howlett, 42, and Tyasiah West, 33, were killed in the shooting on the 100 block of Locust Street early Sunday, Aug. 30, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey said.
Trenton police were called to the block around 12:23 a.m. and found several victims, who were taken to a nearby hospital, Marbrey said.

Finally, in February, Parton's team agreed to a one-year licensing arrangement allowing participating farms to use her image in corn mazes designed by The Maize Company.

A New Jersey man has been charged after authorities seized more than 580 pounds of cocaine worth an estimated $10 million in what prosecutors called their largest single cocaine cache in 20 years.
Nelson Salcedo, 35, of Englewood, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 26, outside a self-storage facility in Long Island City, Queens, following a two-week investigation into high-level cocaine trafficking in New York City and New Jersey, according to the New York City Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.
