$2K Reward Offered For Info On Tewksbury Shooting: Prosecutor A $2,000 cash reward has bee offered as authorities seek information related to a vehicle shooting in Tewksbury last September. On Saturday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m., a person was flagged down by two men, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson and Tewksbury Township Chief of Police Timothy Hanft said. The victim stopped and exited the vehicle to assist, when one of the males raised a gun and shot the victim’s vehicle, authorities said. The victim returned to their vehicle and fled the scene, authorities said. Hundreds Without Power In NJ Ahead Of Powerful Storm Hundreds of New Jersey residents were without power on Wednesday morning, Dec. 11, JCPL reports. According to the company's outage map, 241 customers were in the dark in Washington Township as gusty winds began to sweep through the region. In Morris Township, 74 customers were in the dark, and 18 had no power in Morristown. The outage map showed 248 customers were without power in Long Valley and Tewksbury as well. Meanwhile, in Woodbridge (Middlesex County), 552 PSE&G customers did not have power as of 9:20 a.m.

'Good Times' Star John Amos, Of New Jersey, Died In August, Family Announces John Amos, who played the father on the 1970s sitcom "Good Times" and grew up in East Orange and lived in Tewksbury, died in August at the age of 84, his family announced Tuesday, Oct. 1. Born in Newark, Amos attended East Orange High School. His parents divorced when he was two and Amos supported his family by working as a garbage collector and street cleaner, according to the Washington Post. Amos attempted to play professional football but was cut from the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs and went into acting. He later appeared on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" before being cast as Jam…
