A shelter in place was lifted at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus on the early morning of Thursday, Nov. 21, the school said. On the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 20, Fairleigh Dickinson received a report of a person with a gun on campus, Joseph Vitiello, Director of Public Safety at the school said. The mugshot of a 34-year-old murder suspect arrested in a New Jersey shooting that rattled a small town has been released. Anthony Garvin, of Netcong, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm and lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, PA, a spokesperson for the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said following the Thursday, June 28 incident. A shelter in place for a New Jersey town has been lifted after the manhunt for a shooting suspect led to his arrest in Pennsylvania on Thursday morning, June 27, police said. A search for a burglar in Florham Park caused two elementary schools to shelter in place on Monday, June 10, authorities said. At 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary at an occupied home on Lincoln Avenue, police said. The suspect fled on foot toward Briarwood Road, police said.
