Leiner Miranda Lopez had previously been charged with killing Luz Hernandez, a 33-year-old Jersey City mom in February 2023, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Hernandez's body was discovered in a shallow grave in the area of Central Avenue and Third Street in Kearny, Suarez said. Kearny Man, 44, Stabbed Passenger In His Vehicle In Clifton, Police Say A 44-year-old Kearny man is facing charges for stabbing a 31-year-old Paterson victim in Clifton, police said. Daniel Carbajal-Flores was operating a 2018 Honda when he stabbed the victim, a passenger in the vehicle, at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Russell Street just after 1 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, Clifton Police Lt.
