NJ Mom Killed By Falling Tree While Camping With Family In Furious Upstate NY Storm
A New Jersey woman was killed in upstate New York over the weekend when a tree fell on her camper during fierce thunderstorms that ripped through the region, authorities said. At about 10:50 a.m. the Delaware County 911 Center received multiple reports of trees down on campers at multiple locations with an individual trapped at the Russell Brook Campground in the Town of Colchester. 4-Vehicle Crash Involving Tractor Trailer Shuts Route 78
A four-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer closed Route 78 in Union County Tuesday, June 18. Minor injuries were reported when the tractor trailer and three passenger cars collided in the eastbound lanes at milepost 50.8 in Union Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Ejection, House Struck In Horrific Maywood Crash
An occupant was ejected when one SUV hit a house and another a utility pole in a fierce collision in Maywood, authorities said. One of the vehicles was knocked onto its side in the crash at the corner of East Passaic and Elm streets around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, June 16. Jet Skier Injured On Hudson
A jet skier required medical attention following a weekend accident on the Hudson River. The victim was brought to shore at Bloomers Beach near the northern boat basin near Henry Hudson Drive in Palisades Interstate Park in Englewood Cliffs around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 16, responders said. Everyone got out OK and no injuries were reported after the fire ignited on the first floor near the back of the Hudson Avenue home off County Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. June 14.
