NJ Broadway Stage Manager Killed By Train
Thomas Gates, the stage manager of a Tony-nominated Broadway show and New Jersey resident, was struck and killed by a train this week. Gates, 51, was struck by Morris and Essex Line train 6324 on Wednesday, May 8 at 9:12 a.m. at the South Orange station, NJ Transit officials confirm. The South Orange resident had been working as the stage manager for "Illinoise," a Broadway show that had four Tony Award nominations this year. Kayleigh Cocozza Of Ventnor City Dies, 34
Kayleigh Ann Cocozza of Ventnor City died on Feb. 3, 2023 in Atlantic City, her obituary says. She was 34 years old. According to her obituary, Kayleigh had been working as a waitress since getting her GED "but had so much more potential than time allowed." Support Surges For Waitress Mourning Loss Of Bucks County Son, 22, To Rare Brain Infection
Support is surging for a waitress whose 22-year-old Bucks County son died from a rare brain infection just two months after his initial diagnosis. Jacob Kain Collings was born Feb. 22, 1998 and graduated from Bucks County Technical High School with HVAC certification in 2016, his obituary says. Collings was diagnosed with a rare brain infection just two months ago, according to a GoFundMe started to support his mother, Jennifer, and his grandmother, Annie.
