13 Hurt In Crash Involving Bus Carrying Military Personnel On NJ Turnpike: Report
Thirteen people were hurt in a crash on the NJ Turnpike involving a bus carrying military personnel, 6abc reports. The passenger bus had broke down was heading north and was in the right lane and right shoulder when it was struck by a tractor trailer just before 1 p.m. at milepost 25.6 in Runnemede, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. "There were multiple non-life-threatening injuries of occupants on the bus and the driver of the tractor-trailer," Lebron said. 2 Crashes Jam New Jersey Highways
Two separate crashes were causing delays on New Jersey highways Thursday afternoon, Oct. 17. The NJDOT site shows a vehicle overturned on Route 130 in Hamilton Township (Mercer County) in the northbound lanes around 2 p.m. It happened north of I-195 and closed one right lane. Then, on Route 295, a crash took out two right lanes in the northbound lanes south of Exit 40 in Mount Laurel. Delays between 10 and 20 minutes were reported for each.

A crash during Thursday morning's commute on Sept. 19 brought a large emergency response to the northbound lanes of I-295. As of 8:40 a.m., an ambulance and firetruck were at the scene in Barrington. A delay of 5-10 minutes was reported.

A boy was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train early Thursday, Aug. 8 in Burlington County, officials said. The crash happened just before 8:20 a.m. and involved a northbound River LINE train at Chestnut Street crossing in Palmyra, NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba said. Downed power lines and a separate crash were delaying traffic on parts of Route 73 in Burlington County, authorities said. THe downed lines were northbound North of Route 610 (Fox Meadow Drive) in Maple Shade at about 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, according to 511nj.org. Delays were reported on I-295 Wednesday morning, Dec. 27 due to a crash in Mount Laurel. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the southbound side when an Audi lost control, ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and then re-entered the highway near milepost 39.9, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. The car collided with a Ford SUV which then struck a Chevy SUV on impact, the trooper said. No injuries were reported. Vehicle Flips On I-295 In South Jersey
Traffic on Interstate 295 was delayed after a vehicle overturned during rush hour, authorities said. The vehicle flipped at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 14 on I-295 northbound north of Exit 40 (Route 38) In Mount Laurel, according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation. A right lane and shoulder were closed, 511nj.org reported. New Jersey State Police said there were no serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Tractor-Trailer Fire Delays Traffic On New Jersey Turnpike
A tractor-trailer fire delayed traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill, authorities said. Southbound lanes remained closed as of 9:25 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21. The crash occurred near Exit 4 at about 7:30 a.m., according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s traffic website. There were injuries, 511nj.org said. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Toyota Friday afternoon while walking on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County, authorities said.
