Off-Duty Cops Rescue Guests From Burning Jersey Shore Motel Three off-duty police officers sprang into action early Sunday morning, Feb. 23, pulling guests from a burning motel before firefighters arrived, authorities said. The fire broke out around 3:06 a.m. at a motel on the 200 block of Broadway, according to Point Pleasant Beach Police. The motel was identified in various reports as the Shore Point Motel. The off-duty officers happened to be passing by when they saw smoke and flames coming from the building. DWI, Unlicensed PA Driver Sought In NJ Crash That Left Victims Seriously Injured: Police Police in New Jersey have issued a warrant for the arrest of a DWI driver from Pennsylvania wanted in a crash that left two people seriously injured last month. Mitchell G. Holley, 34, of Downingtown, was heady south on Route 35 in Wall Township on Saturday, Oct. 7 around 6:45 p.m., when his Nissan Alitma left his lane of travel and struck a Mazda CX3, police in Wall Township said.
