Police Investigate Threats Against South Jersey High School
Police in Cumberland County seek the public’s help in identifying those responsible for social media threats against Vineland High School. The Vineland Police Department said it increased its presence at local schools Tuesday, Feb. 13 as it investigates current school threats posted on social media recently. Police are investigating the validity and source of the threats, they said. Officials urged anyone with information to call 856-691-4111, ext. 4190, or email vpdjuvenile@vinelandcity.org.

TikTok School-Shooting Threats Aren't Credible, Authorities Say
Several schools across the United States closed on Friday while others issued warnings and boosted security following what authorities said were unfounded threats on TikTok of a school shooting. Howell Student Suspended Over Snapchat Photo Of Airsoft Rifle
Police increased security at Howell High School on Wednesday after a student posted a photo of a rifle on Snapchat, authorities said. A student was arrested Tuesday for allegedly posting the photo and threatening remarks. Howell Township police shared the post in which a rifle can be seen between the person's legs with the caption "Don't pu Tomorrow." The threat was not credible, Howell Police Chief Andrew Kudrick and Howell High School principal Jeremy Braverman said. Police Boost Presence At Westwood Regional HS Amid Alleged Threats
Police beefed up their presence at Westwood Regional High School following what some considered a threat triggered by an incident between students. It began after an 18-year-old student allegedly stole a cellphone from a younger one, multiple sources confirmed. The alleged victim and a friend grabbed the older student and beat him in a school hallway after lunch this past Tuesday, the sources said.
