Support Surges For Family Of PA Skydiver Killed In NJ Accident
Support is surging for the family of a 48-year-old Pennsylvania skydiver who was killed in a New Jersey accident last week. Tim Slachta, of Garnet Valley, died Wednesday, May 10 while jumping over Monroe Township. A seasoned jumper, Slachta leaves behind is wife, Sue, and their two boys. A 37-year-old Michigan man identified in news reports as a skydiving master died in a skydiving accident in Hunterdon County. Brandon M. Jackson was lying in a field near the airport runway when first responders arrived to the crash near the Alexandria Field airport in Alexandria on Friday, Oct. 21, New Jersey State Police said. Veteran Skydiver Dies At Same PA Facility Where NJ Man Was Killed In April
A 35-year-old Staten Island man and veteran skydiver was killed in a freak accident in Pennsylvania Monday at the same facility where a New Jersey skydiver died in April. Frank Kancso's parachute opened and stayed on, but he landed hard in the landing area at Sky’s the Limit Skydiving Center in Monroe County, according to Pennsylvania State Police and WFMZ. State Police: Woman, 26, Hospitalized In Sussex County Skydiving Accident
A 26-year-old woman was hospitalized after a skydiving accident in Sussex County Sunday morning, state police said. The Glassboro woman was injured while attempting to land at Skydive Sussex on Route 639 just before 10:50 a.m., NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said. The woman was taken to Newton Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
