A teenager remains in critical condition after a July Fourth crash on an electric scooter in Trenton, authorities said. "He is still intubated and critical," Detective Lieutenant Lisette Rios, a Trenton police spokeswoman, said on Monday morning, July 8. Massive Prostitution Sting Leads To Charges For 9, Trenton Police Say
Nine people were arrested following a massive prostitution sting in Trenton, authorities announced. The arrests resulted from two investigations by the Trenton Police Department Daytime Task Force — the first conducted near Beatty Street and S. Broad Street on Wednesday, May 11 and the second near S. Broad Street/Malone Avenue and S. Clinton Avenue/Bayard Street on Wednesday, May 18, police said. Man Killed By Train In Trenton
A man was struck and killed by New Jersey Transit train Saturday afternoon in Trenton, authorities said. The River Line light rail train that left the Waterfront Entertainment Center in Camden at 1:44 p.m., struck the pedestrian at the S Broad Street crossing at 2:52 p.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. None of the 30 passengers nor the operator were injured. Service was suspended between Trenton and Bordentown with bus service provided as of 5 p.m. The victim was not identified and NJT police were investigating.
