Search Continues For Missing Kayaker In Raritan Bay The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing kayaker in Raritan Bay off Keyport. Zhenjing Ding is 74 years old. He is 5’6” tall and weighs 140 to 160 pounds. Coast Guard Sector New York command center watchstanders received a report Monday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. from Keyport police that Ding’s kayak was found. It was near Cedar Street Park in Keyport Harbor along with personal belongings, and no sight of him in the area. Video: Wind-Whipped Brush Fire Breaks Out At Jersey Shore Seafood Cooperative A wind-whipped brush fire broke out near Raritan Bay and the Belford Seafood Co-op, destroying harbor boats, hundreds of lobster pots and a couple of trailers, authorities said. Several Middletown volunteer firefighters suffered minor injuries including heat exhaustion. No one was hurt but the road near the cooperative remained closed on Wednesday.
