Passenger Critically Hurt In Route 1 Mercer County Crash A 39-year-old woman from Pennington was critically injured in a crash on Route 1 in West Windsor, authorities said. On Wednesday, Feb. 28 at about 2:20 p.m., West Windsor police responded to a single-car crash on Route 1 South just south of Carnegie Center Blvd. The vehicle that crashed was reported to have struck a pole and was in the roadway, West Windsor police said. A preliminary investigation found that the Honda was traveling south when it veered off of the roadway and struck a telephone pole, police said.
