Critical After Trying To Save Children From Drowning In Ocean: Police A 28-year-old mother is in critical condition after trying to save her children in the ocean in South Jersey, authorities said. Brigantine police and firefighters responded to a 9-1-1 call at 9:28 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13 for a swimmer in distress.
