A 34-year-old repeat offender from the Jersey Shore has admitted to possessing thousands of images and videos depicting child sexual abuse, authorities said. Andrew Ramey, 34, of Brick, pleaded guilty on Tuesday by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Brian R. A fire in a vacant structure earlier this week was intentionally set, authorities said. On Tuesday, Manchester police and Manchester Fire Department were dispatched on a report of a fire at a vacant structure on Ridgeway Road. Police using a drone found the bodies Tuesday of an Ocean County couple who went missing two weeks ago. No foul play was suspected, authorities said. The bodies of Lorraine Parker, 60, and Gary Parker, 67, "were located deceased in a densely wooded area of Warren Grove in the vicinity of their residence," Stafford Township police announced in a release. A Jersey Shore man has pleaded guilty to robbing several stores and burglarizing a home, authorities said. Thomas Jann, 34, of Beachwood, pled guilty to six counts of robbery and one count of burglary, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. A Jersey Shore man has been criminally accused of giving a 35-year-old man a lethal combination of heroin and fentanyl in August.
