East Rutherford police snatched a 24-year-old serial masturbator from a commuter bus following another incident, authorities said. Shooting, Bus Crash End East Orange Police Pursuit
A law enforcement officer fired a shot and an NJ TRANSIT bus was involved in a crash during a pursuit in East Orange on Sunday, responders said. An SUV apparently was being pursued when it crashed and its three occupants bailed out at the intersection of Springdale and Arlington avenues near the Garden State Parkway overpass around noon on March 26. The wheels on New Jersey's oldest bus line won't be going round and round for commuters much longer. Citing ridership declines that have lingered since the COVID-19 pandemic, DeCamp Bus Lines will only offer charter and casino services as of April 7, the company announced in a customer notice. Woman Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train
A woman was struck and killed by a NJ Transit train in Camden County, authorities said. She was hit just south of the Lindenwold station by Atlantic City Rail Line train 4612 at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, a NJ Transit spokesman said. Service between Atco and Cherry Hill was temporarily suspended in both directions. There were about 160 passengers and crew on the train, which left Atlantic City at 6:49 a.m. and was due in Philadelphia at 8:28 a.m. The woman’s name was not immediately available. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

A violent fugitive being sought by state authorities forced some schools in northwest Bergen County to shelter in place during a manhunt that ended in his capture early Tuesday, authorities said. Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Train In Princeton
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Princeton Friday, Nov. 4, authorities said. Northeast Corridor train 3953, which had left form Penn station New York, struck the victim around 6:35 p.m. at Princeton Junction station, NJ Transit officials said. No injuries were reported to the customers or the crew on board. Northeast Corridor service was temporarily suspended in both directions but has since resumed. Amtrak police were leading the investigation with assistance from New Jersey Transit Police.
