Woman With South Jersey Ties Missing: Police Iman Jefferson, a 25-year-old woman was reported missing on Friday, Jan. 17, authorities in Gloucester County said. She was last heard from on Wednesday, Dec. 4, when she was in Winter Garden, Fla., Monroe Township police said. Her current whereabouts are unknown, police said.  She is 5'6" and weighs 130 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair, police said. Jefferson has ties to the South Jersey area, police said. Ernest Peterson UPS Knife Attack A 50-year-old man from Sicklerville is accused of attacking a UPS driver with a knife, authorities said. Monroe Township police said they caught Ernest Peterson on top of the driver after he crashed into a curb at about 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17. Peterson had asked the UPS driver for a ride to the front of the Madison Court Apartments, police said. The driver, a 52-year-old Franklinville man, was treated at an area hospital for minor cuts above his right eye and on his back, police said. A knife was recovered at the scene. South Jersey Driver, 37, Killed In Collision With Dump Truck A 37-year-old man from Camden County was killed when he struck a dump truck in Gloucester County, NJ Advance Media reported. Thurman H. Smith Jr., of Chesilhurst, was heading west on Route 322/Glassboro Road when he struck the vehicle around midnight Thursday, Oct. 6, the outlet said citing Monroe Township police. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene near Fries Mill Road. The 34-year-old dump truck driver was not injured. South Jersey Motorcyclist, 35, Killed In Crash A 35-year-old motorcyclist from Gloucester County was killed early Wednesday when his bike collided with a guardrail, authorities said. James P. Tomlinson Jr., of Williamstown, was riding northbound on Jackson Road near its intersection with Whitehall Road when he crashed shortly before 1 a.m., according to Monroe Township police. Tomlinson's rear brake locked causing him to lose control of the 2001 Yamaha motorcycle, which slid about 75 feet before striking a guardrail, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
