Mays of Lumberton Township also would become the state's first black woman in the state's history to head up the New Jersey National Guard. Franklinville's Anthony Tartaglia, 48, Survived By High School Sweetheart Anthony Tartaglia, of Franklinville, died peacefully on Friday, March 15, with his family by his side, according to an obituary published by Farnelli Funeral Home. He was 48 years old. Originally from Philadelphia, Anthony grew up in South Philadelphia. After graduation, he joined the Navy and was stationed in San Diego, his obituary said. "Having married his high school sweetheart, he and his wife lived in San Diego, Glassboro, Woodbury, and Franklinville before settling there to raise their family," his obituary said. He was married to his wife, the former Noel Powers, for 28 years.…
