Covid-19: Pennsylvania Reports Highest Daily Positive Coronavirus Count Pennsylvania on Thursday reported its largest daily count of new, positive coronavirus since the pandemic began, state health department officials said. A total of 4,982 patients were hospitalized and 1,048 were in intensive care units, state officials said. The daily increase of 11,406, reported at midnight, was the state's highest daily count,  bringing the statewide positive COVD-19 case total to 386,837.
