The woman who died following a "medical emergency" at the Elizabethtown Fair on Tuesday, August 20 has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
Michele Rhodes, 55, of Akron, PA, and originally from Mount Holly, NJ, choked to death at the Elizabethtown Fair, Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber explained and as detailed in her obituary posted by Roseboro Stradling Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Denver.

Tornado Watch Shifts, Now Covers These Counties Across NJ, PA As Debby Creeps In
The National Weather Service has shifted its tornado watch across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as Hurricane Debby creeps in.
In New Jersey, the tornado watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and covers Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in North Jersey.
In Pennsylvania, the tornado watch is issued in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, and Bucks counties.
The tornado threat for South Jersey has diminished since the initial watch was issued early Friday morning, which has since been canceled.

PA Student, Child Actor Matthew Mindler Died Of Food Preservative Toxicity, Coroner Says
Former child actor and Millersville University student Matthew Mindler died from complications of sodium nitrate toxicity, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
His death had already been ruled a suicide, as Daily Voice previously reported.
Sodium nitrate is used to preserve meat like beef jerky, lunch meat or bacon and can be toxic in large amounts, according to the National Library of Medicine.
In what form and how Mindler found the sodium nitrate was not released by the police or the coroner.

DNA Leads To Felony Charges For Hawaiian Man Who Raped Girl, 14, in Pennsylvania, Say Police
DNA evidence led to the arrest of a Hawaiian man accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in Lancaster County, according to police.
Avery E.I. Sanchis, 23 of Hilo, Hawaii, was investigated by the Susquehanna Regional police following a report of a 14-year-old girl being raped in Bainbridge on August 7, 2020, according to court documents.
DNA found at the scene was analyzed and matched to Sanchis, say police.
He has been charged with the following:

3 counts of Statutory Sexual Assault (F1)
