A New York developer has admitted using the credentials of a potential subcontractor to fraudulently gain approval for electrical permits to renovate a historic building in South Jersey, authorities said. Raphael S. Weiss, 61, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to second-degree computer-related activity and third-degree forgery in exchange for a suspended five-year sentence, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
