South Hackensack police didn’t have far to bring a suspected drunk driver following a mid-afternoon rollover crash. Surveillance cameras outside their headquarters captured video of Linus P. Rodrigues, 48, of the Bronx swinging a 2009 Toyota RAV 4 onto Franklin Street at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, Detective Sgt. James Donatello said. Tow Truck Driver Responds To Ridgewood Call Impaired, Arrested By Police
A tow truck driver from Bergenfield was impaired when he responded to a call in Ridgewood, then left both doors of his rig open and split, said police who found him hoofing it a block or so away. The owner of the disabled car requested a tow behind the Daily Treat Restaurant on East Ridgewood Avenue late Sunday afternoon. : Drunk Driver Flees Meadowlands Stop, Hits Trooper Cruiser
A drunk driver who fled a New Jersey State Police stop at the Meadowlands hit another trooper's vehicle Thursday night before his car stalled and he was arrested, authorities said. Christian Morel, 23, of Queens kept going after a trooper tried stopping his Infinity shortly before 6:30 p.m., NJSP Lt. Jeffrey Flynn said.
