Michael Cimback Jr., 72, was killed in the hit-and-run crash on Thursday, Nov. 7, the Vineland Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the wreck near the intersection of West Landis and Coney avenues at around 5:25 p.m. Investigators said a dark green Honda sedan was heading west on West Landis Avenue when the car struck Cimback while he was pushing a shopping cart across the road. Mark Brown was found unresponsive in the driver's seat of the vehicle by police responding to reports of shots fired around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at Southeast Boulevard between Sherman and Grant avenues, the prosecutor's office said. Police Car Crashes In Cumberland County A patrol car crashed in Millville, authorities said. The police car had its lights and siren on when it collided with another car, Millville Police Chief Ross Hoffman said. Both drivers suffered minor injuries in the Monday, April 24 crash, Hoffman said. The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Second and Main streets, he said. Both drivers were taken to Inspira Medical Center Vineland.  The crash remains under investigation and no tickets had been issued as of Thursday, April 27, the chief said.

Decesare Filippo, 72, of Millville, was on West Main Street at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 when he used a crosswalk at Riverside Drive, Millville police said. A 20-year-old Millville man driving a Chevy Silverado turned left off West Main onto Riverside Drive, striking Filippo, police said. Anthony Torres-Sanchez was killed in the shooting, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. The crash occurred at about 5 a.m. Monday on Silver Run Road in Millville, Cumberland County. An 18-year-old woman from Pemberton in Burlington County was driving southbound near Dividing Creek Road when her Jeep Liberty left the road, according to Millville police.
