19: Bucks County Businesses Defying Governor's New Orders
A brewing company and a pair of gyms were among dozens of health clubs, restaurants and bars defying new COVID-19 orders in Pennsylvania. The new orders went into effect Saturday and will be in place until Jan. 4. For some, that date isn't soon enough. The Proper Brewing Company on Dec. 12 announced they will be open for business as usual. Liquor Licenses Of 10 New Jersey Bars Suspended Over 'Knucklehead Behavior'
Ten New Jersey bars could have their liquor licenses suspended for violations of the state's public health executive orders, officials said. The violations were reportedly found during a campaign by the state's Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control to make sure establishments are following Gov. "It gives us no pleasure to file these charges, but our job is to protect both pu…

Ten-thousand new cases have been reported each day in Pennsylvania for the last eight days, and a record-high of 3,124 deaths reported Wednesday. Hospitals are severely strained, and Wolf pleaded with residents earlier this week to take precautions to ease the burden. Even with safety meas…

Cuomo Suspends Indoor NYC Dining Again, Enclosures Included
Enjoy this weekend if you’re going out to eat in New York City: Indoor dining ends there for an indefinite period -- again -- on Monday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday. A month-long increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations in New York City made the move necessary, he said. The shutdown cripples the city hospitality industry during the year’s biggest holiday season. Both the New York Restaurant Association and the New York City Hospitality Alliance have said accused the governor of unfairly limiting indoor dining at city restaurants while favoring those elsewhere. Restaurants in the city …
