South Jersey Teen Driving Stolen Car Found With Fake Gun, Police Say A Millville teen was accused of carjacking someone and driving the vehicle in Bridgeton, authorities said. Juan Vasquez Jr., 19, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release.  Officers stopped Vasquez while he was driving at around 11:06 a.m. Investigators said he was in a vehicle stolen during a carjacking in Millville. Vasquez was charged with carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm. The teen was held in the Cumberland County Jail.

On Monday, Oct. 16, patrol officers responded to the 800 block of Pacific Avenue in reference to a report of an armed man being involved in a fight with a woman. Officers arrived and learned that the man, Abdul Chappell, was involved in an argument with the victim when he intimated that he was in possession of a gun and stole her cellular telephone, police said. Man Carrying Toy Rifle Nabbed For Burglaries In Atlantic City A man carrying a toy rifle was stopped by police and connected to several Atlantic City burglaries, authorities said. On Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 9:12 a.m., officers were dispatched to a home on North Indiana Avenue for a 911 report of a male attempting to break into a shed on the caller’s property.
