Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Bike Lane In Gloucester County
A 31-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck while walking in a bike lane in Gloucester County, authorities said. Quinel D. Harris, of Glassboro, was walking northbound on Greentree Road near Chapel Heights Road in Washington Township around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 when he was hit by a northbound Chevy Silverado pickup as the vehicle was changing lanes, according to township police. PA Man Killed By Car In South Jersey Loved By Many
A 45-year-old man from Pennsylvania was struck and killed by a car while walking Thursday night in South Jersey, local police said. Michael D. Geisler, of Pittsburgh, was trying to cross Greentree Road near Heritage Valley Drive when a 2015 Volkswagen heading westbound on Greentree struck him around 11:45 p.m., Washington Township police said. Geisler was rushed to Jefferson Hospital and then airlifted to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia where he was pronounced dead, police said. Condolences poured in. Motorcyclist, 48, Dies In Gloucester County Crash
A 48-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries following a Friday night crash in Gloucester County, authorities confirmed. Ronald Morris Jr., of Deptford, was riding a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Greentree Road when he struck the curb near the intersection of Greenwood Road around 11:55 p.m. Friday, Washington Township Police said. Morris was ejected from the bike and taken to Cooper University Hospital Trauma Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, police said.
