A 41-year-old man who purchased human body parts from a woman in Arkansas through Facebook has been sentenced in a Pennsylvania court on Tuesday, March 5. Jeremy Pauley, originally of Enola, Cumberland County but most recently of Thompson, Susquehanna County, has been sentenced to two years of probation for his role in a national illegal human body parts selling scheme involving a funeral home and the Harvard morgue, as Daily Voice previously reported. A formerly licensed teacher serving time in a New Jersey Prison for child luring has been convicted for raping his stepdaughter in Pennsylvania when she was under 16 years old, the Cumberland County District Attorney announced on Monday, Feb. 5. Pennsylvania HS Senior Wins National Taco Bell Scholarship For $25K
A high school senior and Taco Bell employee in Cumberland County won the national Taco Bell scholarship contest, according to the company’s foundation’s website. Emma Seibert, of Enola works at the Taco Bell on Market Place Way and earlier this week she find out that she won the biggest scholarship her employer offers. Her $25,000 scholarship will help cover her tuition at John Hopkins University where she plans to study nursing.
