Horses Extricated From Trailer In NJ Turnpike Crash, Firefighters Say
Several horses were medically treated after the trailers they were being towed in were struck on the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday, Sept. 10, firefighters said. The Cherry Hill Fire Department said the crash happened in the southbound lanes near milepost 26, and involved a utility van and a truck towing the trailer. Jay, of Hillsborough, died on Friday, Aug. 30, leaving behind his wife, Jennette and their three children, Jordan, James, and Joe. Illegal ATV Driver Seriously Injured In Reckless Black Horse Pike Crash, Police Say
An ATV driver was seriously injured after police say he drove recklessly along Black Horse Pike and crashed in Gloucester Township Friday, Aug. 16. The four-wheeled ATV operator was found lying in the roadway while the ATV itself had come to rest in a nearby wooded area near Clementon Avenue around 6:35 p.m., local police said.
