Corrections Officer Accepted Money In South Jersey Jail-Smuggling Scheme: Prosecutors An Atlantic County corrections officer was among three people accused of a scheme to smuggle contraband into the county's jail, authorities said. In a news release, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said 33-year-old Christopher Piccioni of Swedesboro was charged on Monday, May 20. Youth Detention Worker Smuggled Cellphones, Pot Vape Pens Into South Jersey Center: Prosecutor A 30-year-old youth detention center worker has been indicted for smuggling items including cellphones and marijuana vape pens into a detention facility in South Jersey, authorities said. Marc J. Snead, of Vineland, was indicted for official misconduct on Wednesday, Nov. 8, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. He is accused of bringing contraband items into the Harborfields Youth Detention Center in Egg Harbor City where Snead was employed as a Youth Services Worker.
