Couple Rearrested In Case Of 100 Dead Dogs At South Jersey Home
A South Jersey couple has been rearrested on animal cruelty charges as a woman was found to be posing as an animal rescue worker, authorities said.
In August, more than 30 dead dogs were found at a home in Burlington County — and police had said there could be 70 more on the property.
Rebecca Halbach, 35, and Brandon Leconey, 32, also had been arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after the harrowing discovery at their Evesham home on the 600 block of Main Street was made Monday, Aug. 28, police said.

A 31-year-old man from Mays Landing and 35 others were indicted on charges stemming from a large-scale money laundering operation, authorities said.
Isaiah Edwards-Stewart was indicted on Tuesday, Aug 29, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
The 120-count indictment charged Edwards-Stewart with multiple counts of money laundering, theft, forgery, computer crimes, identity theft, trafficking of personal identifying information, and other offenses.

A civilian employee of the Atlantic City Police Department, who was in charge of payroll, billed for hours of work when she wasn't at work, authorities said.
Suzanne Ricketts, 43, of Pleasantville, was indicted by an Atlantic County grand jury for official misconduct, theft by deception, and computer crimes on Thursday, July 20, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

A South Jersey man is accused of running a nearly $10 million money-laundering operation and stealing nearly 2,000 checks, authorities said.
Isaiah Edwards-Stewart, 31, of Mays Landing, was arrested on 17 counts, including first-degree money laundering, identify theft, computer crimes and forgery, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
