An environmental scientist and mother of two students at a Central Jersey high school where nearly 100 people developed brain tumors says she's found evidence of toxic chemicals around the building, reports NJ Advance Media. The sign honoring 16-year-old Jennifer Metzger has stood along Route 9 in Woodbridge Township for nearly a decade. Now, officials want it gone. The Colonia High School cheerleader was killed in a single-car crash in 2009. Jennifer's parents established the JEMMS Foundation Inc., a year after her death, to provide scholarships to high school students in her nae and raises awareness toward reckless driving. NJ Motorcyclist Struck By Truck, Killed During Police Pursuit, AG Says
A fatal motorcycle crash during a Central Jersey police pursuit is under investigation by the state Attorney General's Office. The motorcycle rider, identified as Odean Cummings of Woodbridge, was struck by a truck after Woodbridge police tried to make a traffic stop, authorities said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the Route 1 crash, according to state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal.
