A Brooklyn, New York, man was killed and three other people were injured in a four-vehicle crash in Burlington County, authorities said. Zaza Ghavtadze, 49, died in the chain-reaction crash on Friday, Nov. 22, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene on Route 38 East in Hainesport at around 1:58 p.m. Investigators say Ghavtadze was stopped in a Toyota Prius at the intersection with County Route 674. An Atlantic County woman was cited after her SUV caused a chain-reaction crash and hit the back of a school bus in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. Egg Harbor Township police said officers responded to a crash involving a school bus westbound on the Black Horse Pike. A chain-reaction crash on the New Jersey Turnpike before dawn on Memorial Day sent several people to the hospital, authorities confirmed. It began with a rollover crash on the northbound western spur at mile marker south of Exit 16W in Lyndhurst, which NJ State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said was reported at 1:42 a.m. May 29. A back-seat passenger died following a chain-reaction crash on Route 287, New Jersey State Police said.
